Ice bar full, what to do instead
Discussion
So, my OH is taking her sister to London next weekend for her birthday.
The plan was to go to the ice bar, have a meal in there too and then go for a few drinks nearby but the ice bar is fully booked.
Can you suggest something else where they could go that is a bit different, maybe slightly off the radar. Food is not essential, but it must be quirky.
My OH has been to London many times but her sister has never been. They'll be doing all the usual sights in the day and want something cool to do later on.
So, PHers, it's over to you.

Tayyabs out in Whitechapel is always good, and you are really close to all of the "hipster enclaves" from there.

Why do people so desperately want to do 'quirky' things when they come to London? So odd.
If you want a lovely place to drink, pleasant surroundings, great cocktails, go to the Parlour Bar at Sketch (5min from Ice Bar).
Because most of the normal things you can do in London - bars etc - you can do in any big city?If you want a lovely place to drink, pleasant surroundings, great cocktails, go to the Parlour Bar at Sketch (5min from Ice Bar).

Supperclub is always an experience (in a good way), as is Sketch. Fleegle said:
Sounds like an excuse to serve poor food and save on electricity.
