Thailand - Vietnam - Hongkong

Loads of things to see and do (and eat!) in all those countries. Far too many to list without knowing a bit about what sort of stuff you enjoy?
As far as places to stay, there is one hotel i'd recommend beyond every other in the world never mind just those three. The Oriental Hotel in Bangkok. My absolute favourite place to stay. Toppy for Bangkok but far from extortionate by London standards. Just redefines what service is all about. I'd also recommend paying for the special VIP arrival service at Bangkok airport. It's about £50 iirc and it can save you spending an hour or more in the usually chaotic immigration queues.

I spend a lot of time with work in Thailand, and my youngest has just come back from 3 and a half months flash packing (like backpacking but nice hotels and 1st class flights).
Thailand is excellent, but she much preferred Cambodia to Vietnam, there is still a lot of hostility towards westeners in Vietnam, her and her friends were beaten with a stick by some loopy old woman out in the boonies as they rode past. :-)
However, the tunnels used by the VietCong, Ha Long bay (Top gear) and the islands around there are weel worth a visit (she said).
