I've got tickets for Springsteen at Wembley in June so looking for a suitable hotel. Something easily accessible for the stadium and an underground but not too pricey, £100 a night if possible. A few decent pubs in the area would be a huge bonus too.

I'd be tempted to spend the Friday night at Ace Cafe if it wasn't bikes there that night.

Your main objective is the concert,so if its just convenience,a room for the night and no hassle, why not the Ibis at the stadium?? 100yds from the rail line,100yds from the concert, late bar, late food and a room for £50-£60.They also have covered parking next door for about £10.I`ve stayed there after a concert,no problem? but I would not want to go walkies around Wembley after the concert.

Fox & Goose is okay, Fullers hotel so the pub attached is nice, good food and beer. Bit of a walk to the stadium from there though, through Alperton and Wembley, both areas are 'diverse'. Tube close by, both Piccadilly and Central lines. Right off the A40 so access is good. Oh and free onsite parking! Free WiFi.

This or the Premier Inn are about the only sensible choices.

Hangar Lane is a couple of miles away, and not readily accessible by tube from Wembley.

Another option is staying a bit further out on the Metropolitan line. There is a Premier Inn in Ruislip, just a short walk to Ruislip Tube and a nice safe area. Attached to a Beefeater pub but others are a short walk away. Free parking.

Were arriving by train at Paddington. Whilst the concert is our main reason for visiting London, were going to come up on the Friday to spend the day in London with the concert on the Saturday.

Were hoping to get into the pit at the concert so a convenient location for the stadium would be ideal, however the Ibis and Premier Inn in Wembley have increased their prices to £180 per night for that weekend. I don't think it's worth the premium.

I see what you mean?? that is f!!!ing outrageous!! you can stay in that Ibis room on the 7th June next year for £47.32!!! I did not realise he was that popular? I do not know how these hotels get away with it.
Its back to Google map for you.

Days Inn at South Ruislip. Right next to the station, 5 mins on the Chiltern Line to Wembley Stadium.

Best Western at Swiss Cottage....two min walk the Jubilee Line which you can get straight to Wembley.

Tons of great pubs in the area of the hotel if you're looking to make a weekend of it.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Swiss Cottage looks like a decent compromise for location, convenient to the center for Friday and Wembley.

It's a decent enough Victorian hotel clean and tidy etc....we put my Mum up there when she comes to stay as we don't have enough room for her.

10 mins to the West End on the tube.

If you want some decent/lively pubs near to the hotel PM me.

If you stay at Swiss Cottage, have a walk up nearby Primrose Hill. Great views of the city.

I'm a Wembley boy born and bred, it's a hole. Do as the others have advised and stay in town and get the tube to the stadium.

Stay at the Lamdmark Hotel next to Marylebone station. You can get a train straight Wembley from Marylebone. You can walk to it from Paddington (or very short cab) and you can walk into the West End (or very short cab) for shopping, sight-seeing, restaurants tec.

Might need to up your budget it a little but the OH will no doubt appreciate it and be impressed with your local knowledge.

If too pricey, look for something else in the area. There are lots of B&Bs if you just need somewhere to crash in the evening.

Best atrium in London.

Upping the budget a little is a bit of an understatement though.

It looks fantastic and I know that she'd love it, until I told her that it costs a third of what we usually spend on our main holiday and to afford it we'd have to cut back on our weekends away.

We go away to gigs quite often, once a month on average, and we usually go for Travelodges. We just need a bed and a shower, a kettle and tea bags are a bonus.
