Cheap winter sun for 1

Need to get away January or February for a week or so, looking for some winter sun, I fancy Marrakech as it is somewhere that has always interested me and shouldn't be too cold in January.
Anyone got any other suggestions?
I generally just book a flight pack a rucksack and organise everything else on arrival if it helps with suggestions.

Not a fan of Northern Africa.

You could try India - Kerala in the south offers amazing weather and is completely safe for wandering about alone. You could walk for miles along the unspoilt coast and everything costs beans to buy.
