Can anyone recommend a small, remote rental?

I fancy a back to basics week away in the UK somewhere. Just me and my Mrs. I've got in my mind a really remote cottage in woodland that doesn't really have any neighbours, does have a wood stove or open fire and is super peaceful.

Where it is isn't of much concern so long as it's within a days drive of the South Coast where we are (so probably anywhere in England or Wales, Scotland would have to be a very special rental to make me drive that far in one hit).

Scenery and walks would be good but the main thing is isolation or at least the feeling of it.

Late Feb early March time. Any suggestions?

Thanks for those. There's a lot to look through on the historics site but I've seen a few nice ones already.
