Ideas for a 30th anniversary holiday - end of May
Discussion
OK, it's our 30th wedding anniversary on 28th May so looking for a nice holiday to celebrate.
Thinking of around 3 weeks or so over all with a budget of £5-8K all in.
Not looking for a full-blown beach holiday, although a few days (maybe up to a week) as part of it would be fine.
Also not looking for any great physical activity so anything along the lines of trekking or mountain climbing etc is out (hey, we are both 54 & have both had hip replacements in the last 2 years!!).
In the past we've done a California fly-drive, Vegas fly-drive, Kuala Lumpor/Langkawi/Dubai, Singapore/Bali/Hong Kong, the Maldives & South Africa fly-drive/game parks so don't really want to duplicate (although wouldn't mind a few days in Singapore and/or Hong Kong again if it's part of a wider holiday as those were disasters at the time.
Any suggestions would be welcomed.
Thanks in anticipation.

Although these might be better suggestions for when you've retired and have more time, how about hiring a motor home and driving up the East Coast of Australia or exploring one of the Islands in NZ ?
Alternatively, how about travelling the length of Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi with a little de-tour to Halong bay ?
