still waiting to hear from any member(s) who have done the trip down to ioannina (N, Greece) From Calais via luxembourg, stuttgart, innsbruk, trieste, rijeka, split, dubrovnik, durres and vlores and finally ioannina. Time is not really important as the journey will be part of the holiday. Prefer non motorway and toll roads, scenic journey important. Am open to suggestions and advice from all you seasoned piston head travellers who may also be able to suggest an alternative route back from trieste to take in a really scenic route through Italy-- possibly stelvio pass??? back to calais and the ferry. anticipated date of departure mid may for approx 3-4weeks.
