Has anyone done a twin holiday in the Caribbean?

I'm thinking of cuba/mexico or dominican republic, a week per country.

I can see the point of staying different places in one country - Havana and the beach in Cuba for example but not switching countries after a week.

You'll lose a day extra in travel besides the hassle.

I went to Cuba last year and didn't really like it. Havana was good but not much else.

Whats your budget?

Went to CUBA last month, loved it. Amazing place, would recommend doing Havant and then doing somewhere like Cayo Coco or Cayo guillermo. Seriously loved Cayo guillermo! It's like your own desert island with 4 hotels and not a lot else! It's about a 7hr drive to Havant or a 40mins flight!

Havant's a bit st. Try Havana.

I don't know, I'd rather live in most places in Havant than Havana, although they have nicer weather than us biggrin

For a visit, though, Havana's quite nice.

TBH, if I went to Cuba again, I'd skip Varadero and go somewhere to the East (Santiago perhaps?)?

You've got to go Havana once (And soon, it'll all be changed in 5 years time), but I'd like to see more of Cuba.
