Any tips before I book? Anywhere I can get a better discount?

Looking at Portsmouth to Bilbau Mid July and Zebrugge to Hull late July.
2x Adults, 1x MX5.

Is ferry my only option?
I've seen you can get a small discount through the AA website on ferrys. Anybody willing to lend their membership number?

Thanks

On those routes I suspect the ferry IS the only option!

Portsmouth - Bilbao is far cheaper than driving it. Pretty boring, but cheaper. Take lots to do on the boat, and carry enough stuff up to your cabin to keep you fed for two days. You can't go back to your vehicle and the only other option is the on-board cattle trough.

I've just had a look at the prices, one way, Portsmouth to Bilbao, and was very surprised, it's cheap. Less that £300 for that distance - it's not bad value. Now it's started me off on all sorts of road trip fantasies.

The posh restaurant is pretty good (by ferry standards) in the evening but the rest of the food options are pretty dire (1/2decent frites on the sun deck).

Take a good book though...
