I came across this recently and I thought it was a great idea.

However, it's pretty incomplete. Especially on the outer sections. Like West Ruislip to Ickenham, which is a 10 min walk, or and hour+ and many changes by tube. I was thinking of expanding it, and perhaps adding in distance in metres. Only interested in linking stations on different lines, or same line but requiring a change. Like Ealing Common to Northfields.

If you know any, please post, and eventually I should get everything covered.

If we can help tourists not to take the tube from Queensway to Bayswater (50m walk), there will be more room on it for the rest of us!!!

Good idea - that could be very useful for those not familiar with the city. It does need the distance added as you suggest. People often walk further in the tunnels than they would on the street...

I suspect Blackfrairs - Southwark is quicker to walk (across Blackfriars Bridge) than to catch 3 trains!

Paddington to Lancaster Gate (for the Central Line across to St Pauls/the City) is my often used walk.

Paddington to Oxford Circus is a pleasant 30 minutes iirc. And Embankment to Covent Garden is less than ten.

Good maps here http://www.steveprentice.net/tube/TfLSillyMaps/

Particularly the (big) geographical one at the bottom.

ETA And one of them has the distances between stations you're after.

But not distances between stations on different lines.

Exactly, changing from Picadilly Line to Jubilee at Green Park feels like about 3 miles!!!

Great idea.

FWIW I can say I am 100% sure that it is quicker to catch the tube from Leicester Square to Green Park than it is to walk it smile

True, but Leicester Sq to Green Park, thru the north side of the square, Coventry St, Picadilly Circus and west along Picadilly is such a nice walk.
