Lake District Suggestions
Discussion
Week after next I am going to be spending a week "camping" in the Lake District. I have a camping pod booked on the National Trust site at Wasdale
Im looking for suggestions on things to do. Being powerfully built and lazy with it, Im not looking to climb up any big mountains but am up for some hill walking.
Is there anything that I should really do and if so what?
Any help is gratefully appreciated
I did try searching but it didnt work very well!

High street does not take you up hellvellyn. Hellvellyn from thirlmere is easy. Loughrigg, elterwater and rydal water are easy, castle crag and wadlendtath around Keswick is great.
Doesnt it? Im getting old! Apologies, my excuse is that I only ever go up from the Ullswater side up around Brown Tarn :P And Ive not down that for what feels like 15 yrs Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
