Anyone ever done a driving holiday where you get given an interesting car and visit some pretty sites, along some interesting roads? I'm planning my honeymoon and trying to convince the OH that some nice thing in Italy could be romantic. Spotted this one (http://www.ultimatedrives.net/celebration-packages/details.php?break_ID=283) but it's not quite in my price bracket (not even clost).

Anyone have any experience of this?

Why not make your own trip? (true, it probably wouldn't be in an E-Type, but location is the key?)

If I'd have suggested a driving holiday to my wife, it'd have been a quick divorce smile

Go for it! My wife and I have driven US coast-to-coast twice, London-Hamburg-Berlin-Krakow-Romania-Bulgaria-Corfu-ferry to Venice-Milan-Stuttgart-London, and a few other Eastern European adventures. We look back on them very fondly, as we got to see places we'd never otherwise have been to.

I don't think it really matters what car you take, but there are a few German companies doing 911SC tours, like this one: http://www.passo-tourismo.com/en/home
