Testing at Nardo again but

The annual hct is here again and I'm in Nardo staying in porto cesareo but this year I have the wife and child in tow. Thing is I'm not really sure what to do with them. Think they must be getting bored of the beach but I don't normally have time for that. I have a car but wondering where to take them for an evening or Sunday just for different scenery if nothing else. Any ideas. I've heard Gallipoli is ok but isn't that just another beach type town?
