Ryan air seating
Discussion
So we booked a holiday to Gran Canaria through travel republic and forgot about checking in online.
The flight is with ryan air its not lo late to do so still got 24 hrs or so to go, but checking the seating left on the plane leaves me, my wife, one four year old, (just) and a six year old miles apart from each other, we wouldn't even be able to see each other. Now there is no way im leaving my little girl to fly alone id rather stay at home just wondering how flexible they are with there booked seating plan.
I will be ringing them first thing in the morning.
Anyone else had this type of situation before ?
Kind Regards
SS
Don't waste your money ringing them (expensive number rates IIRC). You'll be fine. Same thing happened to me a few months back and they moved people around so the 4 of us were all sat together. Just mention it to the stewardess's when you board the plane, or if you've got to check baggage in, then tell the person at the check in desk.
Similar question, SWMBO and I are flying Ryanai to Corfu this Sunday for a week. Doing the on-line check in we can book outbound seats free, but can't book the free return seats more than seven days ahead unless we pay £20 for allocated seating. It's been suggested I check in for the return flight whilst I'm away but not overly confident that I'll find an internet café with a printer to do this.
Any regular recent FR flyers know the answer?

I had the same problem this year.Any regular recent FR flyers know the answer?
To get round this, if you are able, on the day of flying, checkin the return leg, without paying for allocated seating, prior to departing for the airport.
I was able to do this this year
Hope this helps

If you have a smart 'phone, download the RA App from iStore/PlayStore - similar to same from BA, EasyJet, etc, you can use to check in and as a boarding card...Any regular recent FR flyers know the answer?
I travel BA more than anything and I can't remember the last time I actually printed a boarding card.
Many thanks for the reply's and advice, i didnt bother to ring them just turned on up.
We had to wait standing in the isle until everyone was seated then with a bit of shuffling they got us all close enough 3 together and one behind.
No delays and a pretty decent flight so i cant complain but its certainly no frills for sure.
Thanks again
