Now this sounds weird saying on here, but I am 18 currently, although some of you may be way older..
I am going on holiday this year in August (peak season), anyone got good decisions, preferably where it isn't a Cock Fest...
Currently looking at Magaluf & Ayia Napa, not too sure at the moment, anyone here been to any destinations on a lads holiday such as Magaluf, Ayia Napa, Zante, Malia, Ibiza, Cavos etc?

They are not all the same.
Kames is ok if you want cheap booze and a dirty shag and little else. Ayia nap much the same but more expensive to get there and generally nicer food and atmosphere.
Ibiza is where it's at. Very expensive though. I've been 5 times and loved every time and would go back tomorrow. Reckon on AT LEAST €100 a day spending money if you go to the clubs.

Wrong forum....
Don't got o Kavos, it's a s
t hole that smells like a sewer. We went there on our first 'lads' holiday - had a blast but wouldn't go back.
The only other 'lad' destination I'v been to is Ayia Napa. We went in 2008 and had a really good time. You can get away from all the t
tty drunk british there too as it's a proper place with other things to see and do.

I went to Malia for two weeks about 9 years ago when I was 18, no idea what it's like now but it was pretty decent then.I am going on holiday this year in August (peak season), anyone got good decisions, preferably where it isn't a Cock Fest...

Although I did get run over out there..
Back in t'day In Ibiza (been twice) it was a good laugh. Even then the clubs were very expensive, must be 12 years since I have been there and even then you were looking at 18€ for a beer/vodka red bull in the clubs. Even the small 330ml bottles of water were 8€. So take chunk of cash with you if you intend on hitting the clubs a lot on a two week holiday. The bars around San Antonio (SA) were reasonably priced back then and there were plenty of restaurants to eat in, we self-catered (best way to do it imho) and made lunch ourselves (always up too late for breakfast).
It sounds cheesy but I'd recommend an 18-30's holiday because a) it makes it cheaper and b) it makes it cheaper. Have your wits about you and don't let the Rep's pressure you into buying into things you don't want. We all forked out 260€ for a bunch of club tickets that would if we had bought them on the door cost us north of 360€. However, they will try the hard sell on all sorts (including sending rather flirtatious female reps) "ohh we want you there", "no you just want the commission from the sale". But they are helpful if you get in a bind (like when I went arse over tit in the shower and landed ribs first on the side of the bath tub) - so don't say the last bit, I was only thinking that
There are plenty of things to do around SA like scuba diving (but its best to sniff these out yourself rather than pay the reps extra commission).

Ibiza isn't that much more expensive than other places. You can easily do it for a similar sort of budget, what pushes up the amount you spend is entry to the likes of Privilege, Pacha, Space, Ushuaia etc. I first went at 18 on a budget, we did 1 or 2 or the big places, but other than that mainly went to the bars/clubs and ate like a €2 euro burger each day for dinner.
You don't have to see some of the worlds best DJ's at the best places...but it's worth doing if you are there!
If you do stick to just bars/smaller clubs then Ibiza has WAY more choice. Other places seem to just be a strip.
2 or 3 years ago when i last went, on the last day we wandered into the harbor, found a local (Gave him about $120) and he took us on his yacht (let us drink all his beer onboard) all around the island showing sights, jumping off the top etc. Then moored up in front of Cafe Mambo (go there if you do go) to watch the sun go down. Was an epic way to end the holiday. Would recommend trying the same (rather than going via a rep and paying a load more).
