Due to living approx 5,000 miles away, I’ve not been into London for over 18 months.

I’m back in the UK next week and on Saturday am meeting with some mates in town for the day.

What is there currently to do? I don’t mean the usual stuff that’s permanently there, but other more unique or “pop-up” type stuff?

Prefer to keep more in the West - maybe so far in as Piccadilly.

(Obviously we will spend some time eating and drinking!)

London has a fantastic selection of railway stations that are perfectly set up to take you somewhere nice.

There's nothing to do in London any more. Make for Stevenage at max velocity.

In my extensive experience of London over recent years, the very best part of it is leaving the fking sthole that it is.

It never ceases to amaze me that people pay so much to live in so little.

God i love getting back to Kent and trees and fields and people with some decorum and manners after a day working up in the big smoke.

Indoors, outdoors, adventurous. Casual, expensive, cheap, sightseeing?

Pick a few and we could come up with something.

Cheap, casual and outdoors - find a treasure trail from www.treasuretrails.co.uk for the area you want

Indoors or outdoors. Casual.

Was wondering about an escape room of some sort.

In my experience people who hate london have popped there for a day and hate the place are better off staying out, walking around at 2mph generally getting in the way.

It’s ok mate, we don’t bloody want you here anyway. wker.

London is a huge place with great things to offer.

Check out flight club if you can moose. Head to box park, the big chill bar. If not try light bar (although these are mainly east). Crazy golf under the gherkin.

Two points you utter fkwit

1. As posted i work and spend most days in London so not just been for the day.

2. Referring to your immediate choice to drop to insults and call me a wker, this merely confirms my assertion that people outside of London indeed do have more decorum and better manners.

So with that fk off wker !!!!

To other non Londoners and indeed Londoners other than this tt, forgive my descent into insulting language, sometimes people only understand what they are accustomed to.

Art?
Music?
Food?
Markets?
Clothes?
River?
Bridges?
Churches?
Politics?

What are you interested in?
With respect (and I'd never come across the term before) you could presumably do an "escape room" anywhere?
