We stayed in Calo el Moro this summer at Hotel Abrat which had just been refurbished. You're looking out over the bay, rooms are great, fantastic breakfast and a nice little pool. It's a 5 minute walk to Mambo and Del Mar, but it's also a little bit away from the oi oi boys and 18-30 types.
Nice little walk up to Cala Gracio too, which has an absolutely amazing little beach restaurant.
I did also stay in Sol House by Ibiza Rocks a couple of years back, great hotel but it's fairly expensive and you're getting taxi's or the boat taxi every time you go anywhere.
Generally though the venues are spread out across the island, so it's busses or taxi's between them.
Take loads of spending money, it was comically expensive last year and it will only go one way.

Hotel Gran Sol.
2 mins walk along the promenade from Cafe Mambo yet quiet enough when you want it to be. Fairly small pool but good enough for a dip and plenty grassed garden with parasols when you fancy a lazy day. All, certainly the last time I was there, at a bargain price.
It's not a 5* resort but then you're not going to Ibiza to spend all your time in the complex. It does everything required of it very well. Spotless, decent showers, usual Spanish buffet breakfast, all rooms have balconies and, if you can blag it, do try and ask for a south facing room.

I highly recommend Migjorn Suites & Spa in Playa Den Bossa. Always room round the pool even in peak season. A lot more of a chilled vibe but still with music around the pool. No d
heads here either.
Book direct on their site rather than a third party and you get a better room, bottle of bubbly on arrival and free daily spa access. Breakfast is to die for too!

+1 - stayed here last year and can't fault it. As diesel do says, quiet, but close enough to the action. Secure off-street car park as well if you want to explore more of the island. On-street parking around there is a nightmare. Been number 1 on Trip Advisor for San Antonio for years.2 mins walk along the promenade from Cafe Mambo yet quiet enough when you want it to be. Ibiza town is a nicer place to stay, and closer to most of the clubs. Get yourself a little moped and explore the island, its got some stunning quiet beaches and countryside.
Would thoroughly recommend this place to eat. Good food, great sounds, and reasonably priced.

We stayed at Invisa Hotel Es Pla in San Antonio in August. It was fairly cheap and wasn't bad, rooms were clean and had decent TV, 2 pools with bars, nearby shops etc.
It's a 15/20 minute walk to the Strip and maybe another 10 minutes on top to Mambos. It's also 5 minutes away from the central bus station which takes you to each of the bigger clubs, we jumped on the bus to DC10 and got the return bus back at closing time.
They were pretty lax with regards to 17 of us drinking by the pool during the day and coming in late at night. They do patrol the corridors at night though so careful of your noise levels after 9pm if you're drinking in the room.
We stayed at Azuline Pacific last year which is round the corner. More expensive, no fridges in the rooms, one pool and the drink was extortionate. Avoid that one if you can.
Edit: Just saw you booked Gran Sol - I'll be trying that next year. Have a good one!
