Hi All

Looking for a nice break away, we have a 5mth old and a 2.5yr old. Based in Herts...Looking at places within 2-2.30hrs of driving from Hertfordshire.

Ideas would be great please. Unsure the weather will be great so perhaps a lot of things for the older little lady to do more so than anything else.

Thanks in Advance

I had thought about London but my partner cant stand the trains and how busy it is...I kind of agree when it comes to the kids at least.

But thank you for the recommendation.

Center Parcs

Plenty for kids that age to do, or just spend all day watching young mums in bikinis- them in the swimming complex.

We went in October, when it was unfeasibly warm for the time of year, but with an 8 month old, it was great.

Might be a tad more expensive in April though, but if they are at the age of bike riding/scooters etc then they'll have a great time, you don't need to spend loads on the activities if you don't want to

Drive in this is pistonheads. Stay by the river south bank / bank side, all walkable.

Isle of Wight works well. Ours loved the boat ride over. Everything is pretty close once your over there, some lovely beaches and kiddie oriented things to do- steam trains, amusements at the needles, monkey sanctuary etc. We enjoyed it so much we booked another week over there this July :-)

Centre parks might suit you though, I found it a bit claustrophobic, like a middle class butlins.
