via Thameslink.

My girlfriend can't do the Underground or Channel Tunnel for that matter due to bad anxiety. Means she has to factor that into her commute. Currently looking for a new job.

She can do the District as it's just below street level and a lot of it is overground. Is the Thameslink the same for the trip mentioned above?

Cheers.

Thamesline runs thru shallow tunnels, like the District line.

It's pretty much all underground from St Pancras until City Thameslink when it climbs up to the above ground level at Blackfriars to go over the bridge. Takes 10 mins

The trains stopping at West Hampstead are the stoppers in rush hour that start at St Albans, so likely to be packed if that's also an issue?

I think it pops up into the light at Farringdon.

It does, briefly, and then only for part of the platform. Then it's back underground to Blackfriars.

Thameslink platform at Blackfriars has got to be one of the most scenic train platforms in the world.
