Yep, and looks splendid.

Take a trip to the Gorge museum and Enginuity if you can - 10 minutes walk.

The road through is closed at weekends, so park on the west side, by the Co-op or Enginuity and walk down.

I recommend the pies from Eley's, and the Coracle for a pint (if open). Tontine serves a good pint but is a little shabby.

As above yes, but it’s some dumb red colour now.

Edit. I would also add, don’t backtrack to the M54/A5.

Go through Ironbridge and Coalbrookedale, then Buildwas.

Hang a left for Cressage. Carry on and pick up the A5 at Shrewsbury.

See some rather stunning Shropshire country side.

Nice, how long have you got the boat for? and when are you collecting it? I am often walking down the canal with the dog, was thinking of heading there after lunch today. Have you been there before? its a long way down hope you can steer OK

We have a narrowboat on the Shropshire Union.

This week I was going to Llangollen but got called in off Furlough this week instead.

During lockdown a lot of the locks were, well locked.

Yeah, did it about 13 years ago. We're heading off around 3 on Saturday 8th.

We went a few weeks ago, there's some roadworks on the main street by the river but you can walk round easily enough

I second this advice, I very frequently do this very run after dinner just for fun! (I live in Shrewsbury).

You can get an admission pass for all of the attractions associated with Ironbridge including Blists Hill which is also well worth a visit. Valid for 12 months.

My FiL used to deliver Ansells beer to the pub there, when it was in the Black Country.....

If you are headed out to Cressage, try and head through Broseley to Much Wenlock, then through WigWig - just to say you have been to WigWig.

Second the run along Buildwas to Attingham - was on that very road in the 928 last night.

School cross country was a run down to homer ford and back.

Went there recently, the bloody barn is still there where I would stop and have a ciggie
