Look at how much long-stay travel insurance (most limit to 30 day trips) or health insurance is first. Mate who lives/works there pays over £300pm and that’s for a fit bloke in his 30s with no existing conditions. I imagine a retiree with some issues will pay a lot more.

There is a cracking desert cycling track that was built just outside Dubai.What sort of location is best suited to the pursuits you hope to be doing in your early retirement?
I have a similar plan, but for Orlando, FL. When I retired I'm planning to release as much equity in my house as I can (I know is generally frowned upon but we have no kids so no inheritance issues). I'll then buy a place in the gated community where I used to live a couple of years ago and spend 6 months of the year there and 6 months here. Just do that for a few years or until I can't do it anymore.
I've had similar thoughts about Abu Dhabi at some point in the future as we normally head there for a couple of weeks every November.
The weather is just perfect for us with no rain 30-33c days, 25-29c evenings with a lovely warm sea having been roasted by the crazy summer heat.
Fab restaurants & bars to chill in, only downside its crazy expensive.

Can you get a USA visa which allows you to do that? I think the ESTA gives you 90 days.z4RRSchris said:

how about Oman if you fancy the middle east, nice weather, plenty to do, if you really want a weekend in Dubai just drive up its not far.

Funny old place Dubai. Mrs BC and I have stopped there for a few days on the way to or from Australia & New Zealand a few times. Nice for a short visit but I wouldn’t want to stay too long.
Last time we were there a strange thing happened. It rained, really rained hard as you might expect in the desert. Trouble was there’s no drains so the whole place flooded. The ceiling collapsed in the shopping mall we were visiting and in the Dubai Mall they were reduced to placing buckets to catch the rainwater.

Yawn Passports confiscated on entry - only returned when your allotted time is done.
No health care. Appalling H&S. Hit with a stick if you step out of line or underperform.
12 hour working day. 7-days a week. After paying rent on worker accommodation (the compounds in which these exists you are not allowed to leave) and food you might be left with couple of $s. From which you need to pay the agency that sorted the work,
So yawn away but if you think this is OK, then you might want to recheck the old moral compass.
