Flying from England to Edinburgh - permitted reasons

Am I allowed to fly to Edinburgh from England to purchase a vehicle?
Has any flown into Edinburgh recently and if so, would you be able to shed light on what happens to passengers on arrival from England?

Wee Jimmy Krankie is making an unscheduled announcement tomorrow which I suspect will be pulling forward the release of current restrictions.
To be honest, I wouldn't worry too much about it as traffic is back to normal levels up here, and has been for sometime. Just do what you need to do, it's very unlikely you will be questioned.

I’ve flown Edinburgh to Gatwick and back 4 times in the last 3 months. Never once been questioned. I’m sure you’ll be fine.
