Somewhere a couple or three hours drive from J27 of the M5.

Somewhere the wife and I can drive to in the Chimaera between Christmas and New Year. For a couple of nights of over indulged eating and drinking and perhaps sitting in a sauna or steam room.

Thanks all.

Any within reason. Not £500 a night, but I'm flexible.

Bath Spa Hotel - Bath. Has its own carpark in the grounds. We got upgraded to the presidential suite which was massive. Didn’t get to sample the spa, though - would spend two nights next time I think. it’s about a 10 minute walk into town centre

Not a chance! Spent a lot of time Falmouth and there are much better hotels in the area.

But thanks for the suggestion! biggrin

St brides spa hotel in saundersfoot, in Pembrokeshire, unbeaten location overlooking the bay.

St David’s hotel in cardiff is ok. Spa is a bit naff though now.

Gainsbough in bath is outstanding

You couldn't be further from the truth, I've been on multiple occasions and never met anyone that fits that bill, and coming from Lewisham I despise such folk.

But glad you can read a venue based on its website !!!

Your contribution has been most valuable.

We've been going there since we used to arrive by horse and carriage.

It has not been as good in recent years and we cancelled this year because of their overzealous face coverings policy. Last time I looked, they weren't enjoying good reviews on Tripadvisor.
