Good morning,

There are two of us planning on going to Prague in mid Nov.

There seems to be lots of hotel availability at present. As such, 5* hotels are in budget but are any better than others or a variation on a theme.

We would like to be near the centre (walking distance), and somewhere with spa facilities, but no other constraints.

Has anybody stayed somewhere they can recommend?

Thank you.

I was in Prague last week and stayed at the Hotel Roma. It's not right in the centre but is in Mala Strana which is just across the river from the centre. It's about 10 minutes walk from Charles Bridge and there is a tram stop right outside the front door so it is easy to get to anywhere. I didn't use the spa, but it has one.

There are loads of good restaurants and bars on the doorstep. The music museum just along the road is also worth a visit (you can play a Moog synthesiser and a Theremin!).

I've stayed in 2 hotels during a number of visits to Prague

Mandarin Oriental: wonderfully renovated building, excellent service

Hotel Kings Court: very central, tram / underground right outside
Very good rooms and service
