Family holiday recommendations

Not a lot to go on in terms of what you like etc 
, so based on that, I'll go for what we did last year, which was a cottage on the south coast of Brittany. Quiet area, 2 minute walk to a huge and very quiet beach. Lots of nice towns within 30 minutes drive.
We got the overnight ferry on the way there, which my daughter (6) loved. Because we were driving we could stop when we felt like it. About two and half hours from the ferry port to the destination. Daytime ferry back, which again my daughter loved as there was loads of kids entertainment.
I would happily do something similar again.

Me and the missus have been abroad a few times last few years but for the first time we are taking her 10 year old and our 5 month old (hell be 11.5 months when we go).
As a kid I used to go to Malta a lot so we are going there. Booked with Jet2 I think it was, all inclusive hotel that has a few different pools and plenty for the kids to do, think if I remember correctly it has a bowling alley etc.

I haven't personally been on one of these but a good friend of mine always goes on TUI Sensatori resorts. Great for families I am told and the slightly higher cost keeps the riff raff out too.
We went to Vilamoura, Portugal at the end of June. We stopped at Dom Pedro Vilamoura . It was a big ''golfy'' and was older couples BUT it was lovely. No pricks there and generally all the golfers were gone early doors. Pool was great for our 3 year old. 20 mins away to the water park. Nice stroll down the marinaand the food was nice. If you want a bit nice hotel which may be AllInc and for families then look at Tivoli. Huge hotel on the marina.

Worth double checking you can even use kids clubs at 3 years old. 8 month certainly won't.
Personally, I'd just go to anyone or the holiday villages in Turkey. We have been to two there and ours were 4 1/2 and 18 months ish for one visit and I can't remember the age for the second one.
Either way, the resorts were brilliant and it was a struggle to find something I didn't like.
Take advantage of holidays when.yoi can go in term time as the price practically doubles when they are school age 😥

I'm a bit of a stuck record when this kind of question comes up, simply because we had about 7 years of wonderful holidays from when my son was about 6.
Take a look at Turkey, flying into Antalya and 5* AI hotels around Lara Beach, Belek and Side.
We always went in August which meant it was always hot (mid 30's C) and the sea very warm.
Gloria Golf Resort was the last one we went to a few years ago and had a great time.

I'd recommend Turkey as the food is good (albeit missing bacon), weather is good and it's cheap. Go on TUI/Jet2 and filter on the 5* ones, wouldn't go any lower than that as the star ratings are slightly inflated IMO.
