Heathrow T5 free drop off area

Has anyone used the free drop-off area at LHR T5?
Just wondering how far from the terminal it is?

I drop off regularly, and had no idea that this existed?

The only free drop-off(s) that I’m aware of are the long stay car parks - 30 minutes allowed and the passengers catch the bus to the terminal.

It does exist...there's a sign for it as you drive to the paid drop off area. Trouble is I've never gone to investigate because It's a pain to get back round and always so busy.

You live and learn. It's miles away from T5, so hardly worth it trying to save a Fiver.
