UK Giraffe 'Safari' Lodge

We have a family member celebrating a big birthday next year whose favourite animal is the Giraffe. I'm contemplating a night or two staying on site at one of the Giraffe lodges available at either Port Lympne Reserve or West Midlands Safari Park. There will be 5 of us (inc 2 children under 13).

Does anyone have any experience of either please as I'm at loss how to decide which one to go for.

We did Port Lympe between Christmas and New Year - highly recommended! We also did the giraffe experience which was very interactive and cheap!
