Evening

Considering booking the euro tunnel to France on 1 April this year. Meaning a 200 mile early-ish morning drive from the south west that day.

Contemplating whether this is a good day for travel (as not the very start of Easter holidays) or bad being the end of a bank holiday weekend.

Any thoughts?!

Cheers

I'd have thought if you're clear of Southampton/Swindon by 2pm when everyone starts heading home it'll be very easy. Unless the weather is bad and all the caravanners pack up early and head for the Midlands...

Should be fine, just keep tabs on operation stack (or whatever they call the truck SNAFU...)

Glad people don’t think it’s a mad idea!

Tunnel prices seem better that day than the days either side
