Planning on heading to the Caribbean in Feb 2025 for half term. Will be travelling with the wife and two kids (10 & 7) and looking for some suggestions for hotels to consider. Looking for a direct flight from London and going to rule out Mexico due to flight time. Prefer all inclusive but would consider half board as well. We've previously stayed at Hilton La Romana in Dominican Republic and enjoyed that but would be nice to try somewhere different. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

St Lucia. The Landings. Great for kids, 2 bed villas are nice, near Rodney Bay for eating out etc. Highly recommended.

Another Vote for St Lucia but for the Windjammer. Fantastic watersports included in the AI package and lots of great restaurants to chose from.

Thanks - I'll check this place out as well. St Lucia seemingly a popular choice so far!

St Lucia Bay Gardens Resort- there at the moment. Don’t have kids with us. There is a kids club and loads of stuff to do on the island and a nice beach and pool.

Quite a few years ago we went to a hotel on Turtle Bay in Tobago. Just done a google and it's now called Starfish, Tobago. It was lovely...not 5* but really nice. Still has a kids pool/activities, and it's on the Tui website.

Even if you don't like that hotel, Tobago is deffo worth a look as there's lots to see/do in Tobago, probably more so than most Caribbean islands, if you want to explore beyond the usual beach, sea, pool scene. So, with kids, renting a jeep and exploring beyond the resort would be great. Flights are direct from Gatwick too.

Thanks. Never considered Tobago so I’ll check it out.
