There was some guy on here about 15 years ago speaking to a German woman, they'd exchanged messages for quite a while and he'd sent a photo of himself after a few weeks of messaging. Just remembered to come back to this, and glad I did! Some of those replies have properly made me chuckle, particularly the German translation above ^^

Re the Chinese translation, thanks to those of you that have replied. Very interesting re the date and name of the artist; Xu Beihong.
