Spa Classic

I'm looking to book Hull - Rotterdam with P&O but through DirectFerries.

I don't know if my partner is going to be able to make it.

The question is - If I book and pay for two passengers and then turn up at the terminal alone - Does that have any impact on travel.

ie - extra cost or anything else?

Anyone done this and how did it turn out?

Thanks

Just means you've paid for someone who isn't travelling. Isn't going to cost you any more as you've paid for the second person anyway.

Just take a mate instead!

Yeah - no issue. We were one down on our LeMans trip last year. No problem whatsoever.

With both Brittany and Stena, I have both added and subtracted passengers in the past. Any fee has normally been adjusted only to reflect the cost or saving of the new arrangement, eg additional breakfast or relocation to a smaller cabin. But I normally buy fully flexible tickets.

Book direct with the ferry operator, why pay a booking fee to a third party?
And book as early as you possibly can, as prices rise nearer to your sailing date.

Thanks for the replies especially the ones with actual experience.

Very helpful.

DirectFerries can come out with decently lower prices on some occasions.
