Alicante airport car hire (early hours)

Hi
Flying into Alicante (ALC) and would like to rent a car but don't arrive until 1.30am.

What are my options as I can't seem to get a quote at that time.

Am I best staying somewhere for the night and collecting car in the morning, If so any suggestions?

Traveling south to La Mata which is 10 mins ffrom torrevieja. But going to drive down to cabo de gata, San Jose area for a few days.
