Provence/Riviera campsites

We're planning on spending most of September bimbling around the South of France in our campervan.

The intention is to spend a week or so on the coast at a site that we can walk to the beach from and then move inland to a site/sites within easy walking distance of pretty Provencal towns.

Any recommendations in either category? There's only the 2 of us and we're not keen on the huge 'family' campsites that seem to proliferate along the Cote d'Azur.

Being in France in September is a bit of a lottery. Lots of places close on the 15th , I can’t recommend any sites but do check the open dates.
