It's a long shot but thought I'd ask anyway. I'll be in Koh Tao in a few weeks time and want to do some diving.
Can anyone recommend me a good centre please? Safety goes without saying but I'm also particularly after a centre that has good quality boats and amenities, I'm on holiday so don't want to rough it!

Thanks

My best mate was an instructor on Koh Tao, Sairee Diving Cottage from memory but this was a few years ago and pre-Covid so may be under a different name.

He's now in some management position with SSI so I'd be looking at one of their accredited schools.

I dived with these guys in February.

Assava Dive Resort

Good people, their own dive boat and wetsuits aside, most of the equipment was good.

Sorry, cant recommend a dive school, whilst i got my PADI open water and advance qualification there it was over 25years ,ago, alot has changed it seems from the little quite island that only had limited electricity during the day when i visited!

Diving i hope has not changed, it was superb, best dive was at night when we got phytoplankton Bio luminance in the water along with a lighting storm whilst being followed by a school of barracuda just off the end of my flippers! adrenaline was flowing!
