Evening all,
Did a quick search for Brazil however aside from threads about the GP, couldn't find anything in the Travel section.

My other half and I are headed to Rio next month and wondered if there was anything that anyone would put in the 'must do' category that I wouldn't find from googling.

Also heard mixed reviews on actually going to the Christ and once you're there it can be a) far too busy and b) underwhelming so viewing him from Sugarloaf is another option?

I can’t help, but on the Beeb at the moment, is ‘Celebrity race across the world’ which starts in Brazil, you may find some of it interesting.

Join the hang gliding club and do a tandem hang glide off the mountain and land on copacabanna beach. Was a great experience.

Get a locals tour round a favela, lapa steps were cool, sugarloaf mountain was good, we went at sunset.
