Hi, can anyone recommend where best to park at Manchester Airport for Terminal 1? I'd prefer close to terminal if possible. Looking at their official parking most of the options seem to be meet & greet which I don't want due to the horror stories I've heard.

Thanks!

waht about stay at the radisson and leave it there, or there a couple of travel lodge type hotels near the cargo centre that will let you do that,

be very careful a few have immigrants and homeless in them

This, just done it and its very easy, not worth saving a few quid and being worried all the time

Is the T1/T3 mid stay any good? Booked in there in a couple of weeks time, I’ll have 2 young kids and a mountain of luggage to manage, is it easy enough to get a trolley and not an excessive hike to the terminal?

First time travelling from Manchester and can’t find out much other than it being described as a short walk to the terminal. I’m travelling from T3 if it makes any difference

Use Meet & Great, it is fantastic.

So close, so easy.

Thank you. Had a look at that but saying no availability for my travel dates. Will look again at the weekend.

Thanks, I'd need to check how close they are to T1. Not bothered about saving a few quid as will be expensing the parking. Just want as close to the Terminal as possible. Don't need a hotel at airport as only got a 3 hour drive from home.

Read some shockers on here about M&Gs, both official and unofficial. Checked my insurance policy and wouldn't be valid should damage occur so won't be doing it.

T1/T3 mid-stay is next to T3 multi-storey, so probably 5 minutes walk tops. No idea on a trolley as I've only used T1 and T3 multi-storey recently.

I've heard it's grim but we're going as a family so need to bear their costs and flights are £1k per bum cheaper than going from Glasgow. Glasgow ain't great but tolerable and we've survived Luton and Birmingham in the past - how much worse can Manchester be...

Bingo. £800 - £1000 saving meant Manchester instead of Glasgow or Edinburgh. Next year we’re booked to go from Liverpool instead, heard enough Manchester horror stories to not want to rebook until after I’ve experienced it!

Great, thanks a lot! Sounds like multiple trips for the bags won’t be too bad if that’s required

There isn't a multi storey right next to T1.

I looked yesterday and the nearest long stay multi storey was next to T2 or T3, can't remember which but it looked like a pain to walk to T1.

I parked in it a couple of weeks ago and the lift from the upper decks takes you straight to the T1 departure floors. I would say you don't even have go wet but the day I parked it was raining so hard, some of the internal steps were more like waterfalls.

Might be pricey for long stay, so you might have been looking at the T1/T3 mid-stay which is maybe 10 minutes walk.

Isn't the multi by T1 a Meet and Greet?
