Flying Back from Nuremberg in January

I have a trip to Nuremberg coming up. Flying with (BA) from City Airport to us there. Who is best to fly back with? Lufthansa? KLM? Any others?

I want to avoid the budget airlines.

They are much of a muchness on a flight that short. I worked over there (pre-brexit, because that killed it) for 18 months, flying out and back weekly to/from stansted, doing work for a medical equipment company in Erlangen, which is sort of a suburb of Nuremberg.

Your other option is train or car down to Munich and fly on a bigger set of operators if you want. I flew to Munich and got a rental car a few times - the cost of the car was offset by cheaper flights london to munich.
