Cool bars near Euston tonight?

As title, got to entertain colleague tonight, I know Camden and Covent Garden but he's staying on Gower Street equal distance between the two, what's some decent or themed bars around there? Are the St Pancras hotel bars the best bet?

Or a comedy club would be good as well.
