Looking for some recommendations for Hotels in and around Zurich with on site secure parking - I am looking for a 24hr stopover on a road trip next year. Taking the Emira, so would prefer to avoid on street parking if possible. Budget of between £150 to £350 per night for a room. Finding it challenging to get info on decent car parks in the usual places like booking.com
Thanks in advance.....

Earlier this month I stayed at the Hyatt Regency at the Circle near the airport. Very nice hotel, about £250/night. Car park was excellent, big spaces, half empty and loads of top end cars. Wasn’t cheap though at about £50/night!

The Swiss are generally very reserved and don't like to show wealth, except when it comes to cars. Most wouldn't be seen dead in anything 'ordinary'. I wouldn't be too worried about street parking in Zurich - you have to drive something really special to stand out there.

Your car will be fine. I'd leave my vanquish on the road outside a friend's house there for weeks on end when I travelled. Never had an issue.

Thanks for the info, and reassurance. Not being precious, just never been to Zurich before! Cheers.

You'll have more of a problem with steep ramps, pillars and sharp turns that you will with theft or vandalism.

The Dolder Grand is a nice hotel, it's slightly outside of Zurich so no issues with parking. Lovely views over the lake.

In Zurich you'll probably just be treated as a poor relation that can't afford a proper car.......
