Hi, when BA forced 2FA i used my authenticator app. I accidentely deleted it with no back up so I can no longer generate BA 2FA codes so can’t get access to my account to use my miles or voucher.

I have spoken with BA on chat and X who have said they have sent a request to the 2FA team but i have heard nothing.

I still have access to the BA app but cannot reset anything from it and when trying to book on it I get taken to a log in page requiring 2FA.

I think I will have to delete that BA account set up a new one and hope I can link that to my BA Amex.

Would anyone have any other suggestions?

No as it will ask for a OTP from authenticator. I have found a workaround for now. If i navigate on a browser to the mobile BA site not OTP needed but unfortunately there is no option to turn 2FA off or change how it is achieved.
