36 Hours to Spare within 3 hours of Bischoshefen Austria

Going to Austria Next Week.
Currently have From Friday Morning until our 8pm Flight home from Salzburg to spare.
We wake up in Bischofshefen on the Friday Morning, any suggestions on where to go within 2-3 hours for an overnight stay. We have a 5 year old with us so preferably a place with something fun for him.
Munich has crossed my mind as its 2hrs 30 by train away.
