Virgin Atlantic Points

Hi, looking for some help with Virgin Atlantic points, specifically the reward plus credit card and if it’s worth it.

Currently get 18k points for sign up and a reward voucher (can be used for companion) when you spend £10,000. The £10,000 would put you at 33k points total plus the companion voucher for an initial outlay of £160 (annual charge).

I’ve seen that 33k will get you to quite a few places but can’t find info on how much the taxes would be? Does anyone know? Thanks

If you sign up to the 'Virgin Atlantic Flying Club' you can log in and look for flights using points, when yuo find a flight it will tell you how much you will pay in tax.
