Haven’t been there for 10 years, and have a long weekend booked for May. Am guessing that a lot will have changed? Looks like 200 quid/night is now the going rate for a semi-decent hotel?

Seems that there’s a new wildlife/bird park about 20 mins out of town - anybody been there and can recommend it? (Family day out).

Also looking for suggestions for rooftop/outdoor bars for the (early) evening, and a decent pub to watch the Premier League live on tv later in the evening?

Not interested in shopping, but will probably take a stroll down Orchard Road anyway.

And I can’t remember where the good street food areas are…!?!

Higher Ground is a good choice for a rooftop bar (great cocktails with a nice view)

As for street food, it's Singapore - there's great food all over the place!

Ce la vie has good views over marina bay . If you want to watch footy , many bars along boat quay will show the football and will be busy ,
