Has anyone got any experience of GotRentalCars.com?

I'm looking at hiring a car at Toronto Airport, and they are the cheapest I've found so far.

I'm looking for a mid sized SUV - as it'll mainly be me and the wife, maybe a couple of others to get to a restaurant for an evening as we have friends and family out there. We're not staying in the city.

Direct from Avis, for the same 14 days is more than double the price. Any personal experience of them would be great.

I've used them a couple of times in the US and have another booking with them for Kansas City later in the Year.

I had no issues with them (my car was with Hertz) and would use them again

One warning. Not used that company but have used similar.

I had assumed, stupidly, the company did some due diligence on the companies offering on the site. They do not just send them a price and your on the site.

Result very battered car, but no time to reorganize, €250 bill for "new" dents. Fortunately I had rental cover. On return googled rental company and it was not nice.

So check the name of the hire company before booking. If it's not shown or it's a surprise offer maybe avoid.

I've used them loads. They are brokers, so yes you don't rent from them, you rent from the local company.
And in some countries the local renter is dodgy.

Just avoid Green Motion, they got such a bad rep for add-on fees, that the insurance companies started excluding them from policies.
