Off to the Greek Idland of Corfu in July, and staying in Kassiopi. Eldest R2R is 21, while we are there. I would like to find a nice restaurant to take her and the family out. Any one on here been, and any suggestions?

Thanks

The White House Restaurant, Kalami. Ex Durrell family house, wonderful food in a beautiful spot overlooking the bay. Not far from Kassiopi.

Hired a boat a few years ago and went to Agni Beach for an amazing lunch. Would definitely recommend that, the food was brilliant.

You need to book, but the boat hire people should be able to do that for you. What's good is when you approach the jetty at Agni, they have locals who jump aboard and sort out the berthing, so you don't embarrass yourself in front of all the diners and the people on the beach!

Thanks, that's good to know because I probably would. wink

If you want to stay in the village, Janis is excellent, and has great views of the sunset.

Thanks. Janis is only a few minutes from where we are staying. What are the child friendly choices like there? It's difficult to find any sample menus for the place.

Great place - even Amanda Holden eats there, she arrived in a private speed boat from the Kassiopi direction (source, I was there and so was she hehe).

We loved the vibe at Agni for dinner.

Eucalyptus in Agios Stefanos is also well worth a (boat or car) trip. Has mooring for the former, and a shallow pebbly beach for the kids to run around on.

Utterly fabulous food. I think this is the Corfiot mezze, stuffed courgette flowers and orange pie, but you should really try it all yourself!
