Salzburg to Valdobbiadene?
Discussion
I lived in Pederobba, a few miles from Valdobiadene. Some local tips:
- when you get there, be sure to stay at least some nights in Asolo. Stunning place with stunning cafes and restaurants. G&T at the Cipriani for the views and quality.
- You MUST go to Osteria Senza Oste - trust me. Its a "secret" honesty bar nestled in vineyards with views to die for. Used to be knowledge only passed from person to person until Facebook arrived... If you need directions ask, but I think it's on google maps now.
- Look up Trattoria San Bastian in Pederobba - traditional grilled meat with epic views and good prices. Try their costata di manzo.
- Also in Pederobba, try Spiga D'Oro for the best pizza you'll ever have in an unremarkable restaurant. People travel miles for it in Sundays.
- There are plenty of access points for a BBQ/paddle in the river Piave. Bigolino being one of the best
