Italian Tolls

So, forgot to upgrade my Bip&Go to inc. Italian Telepass which is a real pain when used to flying through the tolls..

Anyone been to a local Telepass shop in Italy and got a tag there and then? fairly easy as long as you have id and bank details?

Don’t hit Italy again for another 7 days so got some time to sort, Bip&Go won’t send a new tag to the country we’re current unfortunately

Can't help with the tag but I've never found the non-tag queues in Italy to be that bad.

I think you might struggle to get an equivalent one without an Italian bank account to link it to. You can though get them that you pre-load with credit which may be easier to get.

Sorry can’t be more precise. We’re western Sicily and the nearest toll roads are the other side of Palermo so we haven’t bothered with a tag.

Thanks gents, managed to find an old PH thread which lead to tolltickets, who are all online and able to send to Croatia (god knows why bip n go cant)

They were happy to do pay as you go against debit card so no bank details given.

All ordered and an express delivery option was available, 2 days. so fingers crossed
