eSim - Tethering limitations
Discussion
Normally I travel within the EU and just buy the relevant EE data pack, however I'll be off to Egypt in a few weeks and will need to have data access.
Historic posts suggest buying a sim router and then buying a sim card at the airport when I land. That feels very archaic with the advent of eSims. I've found this one - https://esim.holafly.com/esim-egypt/ - and on the surface it looks like exactly what I need - £2.73 per day for 15 days with unlimited data - perfect and cheaper than me buying a router and sim at the airport.
Only issue is it says "Hotspot - enjoy 500mb per day to share with others". How is this enforced as I will want to connect multiple devices to my iPhone and likely use more than 500mb in a day.
Does anyone have any experience with tethering on one of these (or similar) esims?
