Will I get home tonight?
Discussion
Flying home from Hanoi to dubai to Heathrow.
Will the Middle East play nice tonight and allow the airspace to remain somewhat open?
Got effected on the way to HCMC over a week ago and lost a day.
Now heading to the airport in a couple of hours. The news seems to think the cease fire is just about holding
Fingers crossed they all play nice tonight

Well, Qatar airspace is closed currently and Doha flights are being re-directed to Saudi Arabia but not sure about Dubai.
Edit to add: Dubai is currently open but some flights have lengthy delays or being diverted due to other airspace closures in the region.

Qatar Airspace is open. It opened early this morning.. Hanoi to Doha doesn't look to be doing well though. Both flights cancelled.
edit: I thought i read via Doha, not Dubai... Emirates flew this morning, so i think you're in luck if everyone plays nice.

HOME
So apart from the London flight departing DBX about 40 mins late and a bit of circling before landing - we arrived around an hour late.
Glad everyone played nice and the flight route was only longer by about 35 / 45 mins in the end.
So all good - now feet up
Before next weeks flight to the good ole USA
