Megaphonics '25 route ideas

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'm treating it as a holiday and with some travel.
Off to Megaphonics this weekend, went last year and set off early motorway all of the way to Bicester pretty much.
This year a few of us are going on Saturday, staying over and Megaphonics on the Sunday, and using the Saturday as a road trip to get there and avoid the motorways/congested roads as much as possible.
We'll probably converge around Whitchurch then down towards Bicester, we're in no hurry so just want some pointers on some decent roads as it's not a part of the world I know that well.
The only bit I know (of old) was Whitchurch towards Kidderminster A49 towards Shrewsbury then the A458 towards Much Wenlock, Kidderminster.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

So basically you want some nice roads in Shropshire?
Whitchurch to Shrewsbury isn't great so just do the a49 but then after Shrewsbury I'd turn off into church stretton and head up and over the long mynd on the burway. The road itself is a single track road with passing places and whilst not exactly taxing it is very scenic and always enjoyable.
From the far end of the long mynd loop back down onto the a49 down to Ludlow. From there I'd go across the A4117 past clee hill then through cleobury Mortimer towards Bewdley.
